Our Story

Our story is one of luck. Independently, our founders responded to the early needs of the COVID-19 pandemic by developing novel solutions to mask testing and distribution.

M reached out to Aaron hoping to collaborate on these respirator efforts and the two quickly discovered that they had each independently arrived at the same conclusions about what could help resolve so much pandemic suffering: broadly accessible, easily understood communication and tools to advance proven but largely unknown airborne pathogen mitigation technologies.

Together, they realized it was a one in a billion chance that two people with the necessary backgrounds, tools, and ideas would share not only a pandemic mitigation philosophy, but a neighborhood. United by the guiding belief that these life-saving technologies should not be left to the improbability of two well-equipped people happening into the right room and having the right conversation, they launched OpenAeros and shortly thereafter began work on The OSLUV Project.

The OSLUV Project is a 501c3 non profit committed to providing equitable access to clean indoor air and the technologies that enable it.
